Remote Graphic Designer — Figma + Email

We are looking for a Graphic Designer who is proficient in Figma and has a passion for crafting compelling email communications to join our team and support our client, a global lifestyle footwear brand, in creating visually stunning and engaging content for their marketing campaigns.
This is a contract-based, fully remote role that offers the flexibility to work from anywhere.
You will play a pivotal role in designing graphics and layouts for newsletters, ensuring they align with our clients' branding and communication goals.

Responsibilities and Deliverables:
You will work directly with the creative leadership of ÆRO who will support you and help with art direction.
Design engaging and visually appealing graphics and layouts for newsletters and email communications using Figma.
We may also have you support on creating other graphic assets such as campaign key visuals, decks, and mockups.
Collaborate with our team to understand project briefs, ensuring designs meet client requirements and brand standards.
Translate creative concepts into compelling visual designs that engage and inspire the target audience.
Maintain consistency across digital platforms, adhering to brand guidelines and design best practices.
Stay updated on the latest trends and technologies in graphic design and email marketing.
Convert Figma designs for use in our email client, with training provided to ensure a seamless transition.
Deliver projects on time
Work Experience:
Proven experience in graphic design, with a strong portfolio that highlights your skills in digital and email design.
Advanced proficiency in Figma, with the ability to produce clean, visually appealing designs.
Familiarity with email design best practices, including responsive design for various devices.
A keen eye for aesthetics and detail, with the ability to balance creativity and functionality in design.
Excellent time management skills, with the capacity to handle multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
Strong communication abilities and comfort working in a remote, collaborative team environment.
Experience working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
A proactive and adaptable approach to work, ready to tackle challenges and contribute to a dynamic team.

Figma Proficient is required
HTML email knowledge is a plus - you won’t be coding, but will be building within our email client’s visual editor.

Unfortunately, we can’t accommodate “moonlighters” who are only available to perform work at night but unavailable in the day
USA ONLY (PST, MST, CST, and EST)
Due to the speed of delivery, we need someone who can be available within daytime working hours (9am-5pm) for kickoff calls and for quick-turn edits
Once briefed, hours are flexible. We work mostly asynchronously with minimal meetings, preferring to use tools like Notion, Loom, and Otter AI recaps for briefings.
Compensation
$40-50/hour - DOE
